Stay and relax in this elegant guest house of your dreams, located in Berdoues in the Gers. In the beautiful foothills of the Pyrenees lies this old Gascon farmhouse of character, surrounded by 3.5 hectares of organic farmland with grazing horses. The long driveway flanked by rustic, century-old oak trees and the welcoming house exude an atmosphere of peace and security. The gite is located in one of the wings of this 1797 farmhouse.
Our self-catering mini vacation home is located on the left side of the house with its own entrance and part of the garden.
It consists of a salon/bedroom and sleeps 4 in the same room, with 2x single bed (or convertible to 1 x double bed) and a comfortable sofa bed (double), ideal for children and has a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a large rustic dining room table and 6 chairs. Kitchen equipment consists of refrigerator, dish washer, small electric oven, microwave oven, and a 4-pit gas tabletop stove for cooking. The washing machine is shared with us (wash is done at night at 4 € per load on request). The cozy and originally decorated cottage is rented as independent entity and has a covered veranda with garden furniture and barbecue.
Baby bed can be added. For the chilly nights we have installed a lovely wood burning stove (wood is charged separately) or you can use the electrical heater (extra charge of 25 € for electricity).
Basic rates per night
Basic rate is 110 € per night for 2 people. Extra bed or baby bed is 15 € per night. Cleaning fee is 75 € per stay or 25 € per week (change of linen on request). Linen for beds, towels for bathroom and kitchen are supplied. Beds are made upon arrival. Please bring your own towels for the pool! In case you forget, we can supply " foutas" during your stay for use at the pool.
Tourist tax/Taxe de séjour 3% per night per person older than 13.
Free in-room WIFI, coffee & tea service, welcome packet. A delicious breakfast can be served upon request for 10€ per person per night in your kitchen or on your terrace. Closed from 1 November until 31 March.
